One is that a person is using an insurance policy and he forgot about that or he may die and the next of kin do not know about this property. The second form is that we have a property in any form and we forgot about that property. This type of money is unclaimed money.
This type of money is considered as the property of citizens in the hands of the government and the government has to handle this property. There is a huge amount of property which remains unclaimed from a number of years. So this money is like a headache for the people holding the accounts of the country as they have to see this unclaimed money also. There is a very little amount of people which come and claim their money so after waiting for a reasonable time government can use this unclaimed for other purposes until it is claimed by someone. So it is our duty to claim our money at the proper time to keep our self as the government safe from the tension of that particular amount. This is also considered as the lost of money that we forgot about our property and it is being used by someone else. So unclaimed money keeps the government bound and they have to wait for the owner for a proper time and after that they can use this property for their own purposes.
There is a limit for this unclaimed money to be claimed by the owner as there is an expiry date set to the particular time and after that time this property is used by the government and after that time limit owner has no rights to claim that money. So it is our own duty to claim our unclaimed money at the proper time so that there would be no problem for us because after passing time we may lose a big asset and then there is no advantage to be sad for that money as it is banned for us by our own delay. So at the end we have to say that there is a very huge amount of money is present in USA which is unclaimed for a long time and the state government uses this amount for their purposes. So we have to claim that money in proper time to get advantage from our property.
